Album Info:I found out from some fellow railfans that a heritage locomotive was in my area. So I took a trip with my Mother and Deddy and I finally got my first heritage locomotive the NS 1069 Virginian. It had delivered a coal train down the HAL line to the CIRR. As I was there, there was an apparent minor derailment of one of the HAL SD40-2's. After taking a couple of pics went to Arlington to get some pics of the old Central of Georgia depot that is being restored. On the way back I noticed the CHAT sitting on the main line with the BAYL 2320 being the power for the day. This was my first time seing one of these engines in person, how I did not see it there when I first got there is beyond me. As I went to turn around I noticed that they had set the NS locos off in the CIRR yard. A very nice day.
