After picking up a load of cars in the CIRR yard, we came back to the NS yard to build the train. As we ran up the CIRR tracks the 2883 derailed. That was a nerve racking moment to say the least. Luckily the 2883 jumped back on the rails, (how I have no idea). As we checked the rails and the locomotives, we noticed that the 1707 was just barely on the rails. So we had to uncouple the 2883 and the 1707. Deddy moved the 1707 back down the track which lined up on the rails just fine. We then had to move the 2883 on to the mainline. i took this shot as we were passing. |
