Untitled  Contributor's Pick!
An old trestle on what was once the Atlantic Coast Lines Perry Cut-off line. Built in 1928 this gave a direct route from Chicago to Floridas West Coast for the ACLs passenger train the Southland, which passed through Macon, Albany, and Thomasville, GA. Its been at least 21 years since this trestle has seen a train run over it, as CSX abandoned what was left of the Perry Cut-off by 1991. What once saw the days of steam locomotives, now sits neglected.
